Dad Suggests was created to share with others the many different things that we have loved sharing with our own children.

Our hope is that - by reading or visiting our children’s bookstore - you will find something special to enjoy with your own family.

June Giveaway: Spirits of the Wild

June Giveaway: Spirits of the Wild

Update 6/30/20: Giveaway Closed! Congrats to Tanya W. on winning!

Spirits of the Wild is still one of our favorite board games of all time, and it simply never gets old for us. So in honor of the outdoorsy time of year, and the fact that we just pulled out our family’s tent to go camping for the first time this year, we’re going to share this spectacular game with one of you.

It takes a special kind of board game to legitimately never get tired of it. We’ve added Spirits of the Wild to our list of our favorite board games to take camping, as well as our favorite 2-player board games, and my wife and I both still consider it to be one of the very best games in our collection.

Older kids in particular will love battling against you head to head in this beautifully balanced - and beautifully built - strategy game. Get out under the stars with the family and bring this handsome game of constellations with you. Good luck to everyone, and make sure to look up Spirits of the Wild if you don’t win this time. We couldn’t recommend it more.

You can also refer to the official rules for details.

Good luck! And help us spread the word if you know of anyone out there who might enjoy this amazing game.
