Over the past several weeks, I’ve noticed that two of our most popular articles on Dad Suggests are The Best Board Games for 2-Year-Olds, and The Best Board Games for 3-Year-Olds. With preschools and daycares all over the country being closed, there seems to be a very sharp rise of interest in entertaining little ones with high-quality games.
That’s why this month we have chosen to give away one of our new favorite board games - The Fairy Game. We discovered this one recently, and our 4-year-old daughter instantly fell in love with the theme. In fact, even though it’s aimed at a younger age group, our 7-year-old son can’t resist joining us when he sees his sister and I playing.
The Fairy Game is a fantasy game featuring the likes of fairies, unicorns, and magic wands - and it brings them all together into a well-designed game for young ones. It’s published by family-favorite Peaceable Kingdom - which means it’s a cooperative game, and also almost guarantees that we’re going to love it.
In order to win, you have to collect all of the magic gems from the flowers before Mr. Winter freezes one of them. In order to do so, you have to collect sets of the right color of fairy - so this one is actually another game that will help the little ones practice their colors as well.
